Manufacturing update from Ozpig.
As most of you are aware, late last year we decided to close down our manufacturing facility in Taiwan. This difficult decision was taken in order to stem the flow of increasing costs forced upon us by our manufacturer and at the same time meet the quality and value needs of our Consumers.
Our first attempt in sourcing an alternative manufacturing facility proved to be unsuccessful as inspections of our first production run early in the year revealed a quality and finish of product that did not meet the high standards that we demand for Ozpig.
As most of you know, I pride myself on the quality of our products and will under no circumstances sacrifice our companies good name by manufacturing sub quality products.
On a positive note, we also commenced working with another manufacturer late last year in the development and production of our new Smoker/Oven.
This manufacturer has well and truly proven themselves by ticking all the boxes with regards to quality, service and cost resulting in us taking the decision to move all of our manufacturing over to this new facility.
We are now pushing full steam ahead to get the Ozpig back into stock as soon as possible with early estimates suggesting that our next shipment will be landing into our warehouse sometime in May.
As you could no doubt imagine this has been a very stressful time for all of us at Ozpig and we thank you all for your support and understanding over this period.
We are looking forward to being back in action as the colder weather hits and fulfilling those orders that your Customers will have been waiting for.
